I have bought a kit from Mind the Scrap, which I wasn;t going to do as I thought they were quite expensive - especially as I'm in a monthly kit club over on Lottie Loves Papers too ! which is around £20 including postage and packing - AND a monthly kit for just a monthly page over on Crafts 4 eternity which is ONLY £20 for 4 months - I do like these but then I go and buy embellishments to go with it which is another £3 per month on the top. Ah well, you only live once, but IF i want to pack up work in the next couple of years (because my job is vile again now with all this bleeding scanning) then I will have to cut the cloth accordingly x
Anyway, here are the two from today:

a good day at Broomey Croft Childrens Farm
although it was exceptionally run down, it needs a large injection of cash to bring it up to 'wanting to go back again'........dirty and tired looking, but it was OK. apart from the fact that it was boiling bloody hot again, when is this weather going to subside, in a few weeks time I shall probably be praying for better weather again. lol. x
Cody came with us too and Only Ali as Keir was at work - Friday off for Key, he was very bored, and the food wasn't marvellous at the Granary either ...... but hey ho we went out. x x x x

I was just thinking .....
that life was getting a bit easier ..... then Korin has her first 'day out with' her new chap and he is horrible to her, she had a terrible day. What a shit..................she's rang stuck in his flat whilst he's asleep, cooked himself something to eat and didn't offer her anything. Obviously a different person when he has a drink inside him............I feel sorry for her because I think she REALLY liked him and she realises now that it's not going to work. Poor bugger. we love you Korin. x
A couple of layouts over the last 24 hours. It has been so so hot country - well world wise, and unbearable really in my craft room.
I think good things are on the way for Key in his job. I know he can do it and it might mean a £5000 a year rise and a better car too. x - I hope he enjoys it and it doesn't mean that he will be away all the time though.
I don;t like being on my own.
A couple of layouts - anyway - (feeling down).....
just upload what I may not have uploaded before :

didn't show my back garden off
OK it wasn't a major makeover, can't afford to do that and don't really want to as we will probably be leaving here in the next couple of years ! But I ordered Gazing balls off the internet and they arrived badly dented. I managed to get my money back, which I was surprised about really, but I did from a chinese seller from Amazon.........they weren't cheap at £50 for the pair either.
Anyhoo. I took the plants (which were from 2012) out of the planters and put purple / plum stone in the top. Had every intention of throwing the gazing balls away but one right hand side was only dented (badly) in one area so I put that at the bottom. The other (left hand side) was dented in two places, so one dent at the very bottom and the other dent is JUST aBOUT noticeable towards the right hand side. now having said all that I know they aren't perfect but they WILL DO ........ they are very light (in weight) so reckon on a windy night they re going to be blowing off the top of those planters and maybe then I will have to throw them away. Maybe I can superglue them to a couple of heavier rocks and stick them into the planters - maybe that needs to be done now before any winds come.
So all was not lost, I got my money back, the gazing balls are lovely (although I think are seconds because there is a ridge all the way around one of them as well) - there is only me and key and the kids and baby go into our garden most of the time anyway so no one is really going to see them except for the chap who cuts my grass.
ENOUGH .................as they didn't cost me anything afterall I can throw them away if and when I need to.

Ridiculous I know, but I've scrapped another couple !
I am on holiday this week and intend to decorate my bedroom on Thursday / Friday, with how hot the weather is I dont think I will get it done, so intend to get washing up to date and just do scrapping then? maybe................. I don't know.
Had luna for two days, feel guilty just shoving her in front of the TV for an hour to give me a bit of peace, but I need that hour, and getting her off to sleep as she always seems so bloody exhausted poor little bugger, she puts such a lot into her hours - running around and falling over all the time.
she is just so beautiful.
couple of pics from the garden today AND my two layout one made last night and the bike one made this evening after dropping Keir and Luna at home and walking the dog.....talk about exhausted. and then some.................

Here we are again, another couple layouts - I am on a roll
I bought the Simple Stories paper pad and embellishments, loved the layout the woman did on the video on You Tube but mine didn't turn out half as nice, although I think it's OK.
I bought a monthly kit from Crafts for Eternity, loved these papers etc as they brought back lovely memories. AND found a photo of my mom, didnt' know I had any that I hadn;t scrapped.
I have also ordered a monthly kit for 6 months from Lottie loves paper - it's £20 a month, I feel a bit uneasy as I am spending far too much on crafting stuff again, I went through this a few years ago where I just could not stop buying craft items. I think although I have bought some craft things I really haven;t bought an awful lot for a couple of years and so the stuff I have is very outdated and I just love all this new ephemera stuff - ah well, hubby has vape stuff - LOVE this layout even though I say so myself.
