DD boyfriend dumped her by phone - coward ! Shite. they'd been together nearly 12 months, again she is beside herself. and rightly so. why can't men make a commitment, just a couple of weeks ago they were planning on buying a house together, going on holiday - what is the matter with him.

I have YET ANOTHER cold. aches and pains, really don't want to go to work tomorrow if I feel this rough again. 7 - 8 weeks of coughing and sneezing and aches and pains and blowing my nose, so so fed up - I am obviously low and tired and need to get myself back into the land of the living. have just not felt right for many weeks.

20.2.76 - 20.2.15 - 39 years later
hubby and I have been together for 39 years, 40 years next year and as the son says and it don't seem a day too much.................although I REALLY cannot believe it's been 39 years, very frightening. to think that we probably don't have another 30 years together - let alone 39, so sad. Still love you hubby.
I must try to keep my blog up to date.
Have done quite a bit of crafting - but then had flu and a terrible cough and felt really bad at work, a week off work which I could have done without on top of the bad thumb, it just seemed to be one thing after another.
we are also desperately trying now to get on with UW - but we just don't seem to get started. Must try harder. things have been pretty hectic though since Christmas. Its not excuses, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. Key still working 13 days in 14 would be lovely for him to be able to work less hours..............I don't hate my job, I just hate having to go in every day, I only do 22.5 hours a week but wish I could do them over 4 days and have a 3 day weekend every weekend, although even working mon tue having Wednesday off and working Thursday Friday would be preferable to working every afternoon. I also hate afternoons.
Enough negatives.
We did manage a lovely weekend in Grantham - it was literally a pin in the map type of thing and off we went to the Angel and Royal Great Western Hotel, it was lovely.

very Downton Abbey'ish - loved the weekend away, didn't want to come home to reality though. The flu type bug has left me very low, just about starting to feel a bit better now after 5 - 6 weeks.

22nd January, 2015 already
my Slimming World journey as completely gone out the window and reckon I am half a stone - at least heavier than Christmas.
some inchies for the Netherlands group - Valentines and Winter (January/February) also did my swap of Thrinchies 5 pages to 2 lots of people but I forgot to photograph them, ah well. Back into crafting, but MUST get back onto my diet too - so depressed about it all.

It's my Birthday opened birthday cards and pressies before as we are out all day tomorrow at a UW Do !
wowsers eh ...................... more Pandora off my DD
& the most gorgeous of boxes including smellies etc - the box has me more excited than the contents but I will use them - Body butter and shower gel and body lotion, smells devine.
Key bought me my Stampin up Trimmer/scorer and a score board to fit my scoreable score boards. Brilliant. Think I shall get something off Keir and Alison - but it won't be a lot as they are saving up for their own home - I hope they get the opportunity to move - I know we are all cramped here but a young couple need their own space, WELL (me and hubby) OLD couple need our own space too.

Back to work & thumb much better - had my return to work even though I only had two days off and not on stage 2 sick as I thought I would be.........................but we find out at the end of this month or next as to whether we are where we are now or bundled up to Burton - not looking forward to that !
