Alphabets, alphabets, alphabets what is wrong with me !

I go through phases of scouring the internet every few weeks for a different alphabet.  I have sold 'Tadpole' & Sizzix 35 dies x 3 = Chunkidelic and Lime Light and Twang - now those 3 were dies that I went mad for about 5 years ago HAD to have !  and hardly used - do find that Sizzix really ONLY cut very thin card and I like alphabets real chunky.

So now I am selling Cuttlebug Red Tag Sale dies - and a couple of Decorative bars alphabets to clear out my alphabets a bit but I still have :

A big bubble alpha
A small Uppercase alpha.
2 Cuttlebug alphas Olivia (which cost me bloody £70 from australia about 5 yuears ago) - they saw me coming for that one eh....... AND Harmony.
Then there is Decorative strips 'Hello Kitty' a cute alpha & Chip Block.
Then there is An Ebay alphabet which is lovely
A western style alpha which I don't particularly like and will probably chuck.
AND the offending alpha which I am waiting for a replacement 'Finleys'.

Then I have a huge chunky alpha
Tall alpha from Altenew.
A tall slim alpha.
Another cute smaller alphabet which I had a couple of stamps with.
A very small alpha which might get chucked away.
2 x My Favorite things - Die Namics dies which are GREAT.
AND yet another Lawn Fawn alphabet lowercase 'Quinns' with a stamp set to go with it x
Finally and I think will have to be finally for a long time as I am spending far too much money on alphabets I have a lovely alpha in the very back of my die cut folder which I can't remember the name of.

So all in all at this moment in time I have 18 so with the 4 I have sold and the 3 I am about to sell that would have been 25 alphabets.  HOW STUPID AM I  !  for what you sell them for on Ebay - ebay take their cut - the buyers knock you down, postage is always more than you think it will be & paypal take a cut also - you're not really left with a lot.

oh and YES I ALSO SOLD MY TIM HOLTZ HUGE BIGZ ALPHABET DIE !  OMG I need to take control again. x

And this doesn't take into consideration the Thicker Stickers and similar already cut alphabets of which I have around 30 packs ...... gill get to grips girl x

finally used my Tim Holtz stamping platform to do all these flowers.  My trouble is if something seems or I find things are TRICKY then I don;t use them no more.  I used the Stamping Platform the day it arrived and I got ink everywhere - and on the layout and I wasn;'t very happy so it's sat at the side now for 3 weeks - someone on Facebook said they wanted to know how the stamping platforms perform and I said I needed to have another go to see if they do work ok and so I did this layout this afternoon .... I enjoyed doing it and it came out better than I expected AND I've got about 20 likes on Facebook - thats a best for me, I believe.  x 

I moaned about the Lawn Fawn alphabet

and the woman at Seven Hills crafts where I bought it asked me for photo's -so I sent the pics of how badly the B & U and sometimes the R came out from the die - not cut properly at all and lo and behold she's getting another alphabet sent out to me today - I am well pleased with the service and will continue to purchase from her for going above and beyond.

have prepped a few different papers etc to be able to cut the alphabet when it arrives.

can't wait now to have it cut well x

Sadly I wasn't with her when she was playing in these leaves.  How lovely does she look, she's such a clever child.  I love her with all of my heart x

and buying lots and lots of alphas too - must start using them up rather than just collecting them !

Disappointed......

been waiting on an alpha - Lawn Fawn Findlys - ABC - smaller than I thought it looked in the videos on You Tube AND when I tried to cut through two layer card (all other dies can cut through 2 layer card) - it hardly cuts through.  Two and three passes through my cuttlebug still doesn't cut well. AND the B and the U hardly cut at all.  so disappointed.  Have complained but I do like the font so don't want to sent it back, so I think I will keep it for use when not doing alphabets that need a B or a U ha ha - actually it cut pretty well on glitter foam so it's not that bad.  just a tad upset about it as it was over £20 with postage AGAIN .

My alpha from america arrived and that is a lot tinier than I thought it would be.  Ah well, gotta stop spending on stuff and then being disappointed and USE some tof the bloody stuff I have already - use once and then don't use again.

Got to get to grips witht he Tim Holtz stamping platform - £24 and only used a couple of times, I think I am a bit too heavy handed on the ink and ink up places where I don't want ink if you know what I mean.

Anyway, another couple of layouts - done two today so maybe my mojo isn't waning !
