Phew - FINALLY finished the exploding box for J&C's 40th Wedding Anniversary

Well this has taken for EVER - weeks on my work table and cost in the region of £45......so not cheap, but I am pleased with the final result - still think it's a bit big but it holds 40 photo's altogether and the white and the red roses represent Christines Wedding Dress. I hope they like it - I think they will. The 8 CD's cover 60's, 70's, 80's & 90's music. Disappointed that unlike all my other exploding boxes - this one, doesn't explode open as the CD's flat bottom stands up IYKWIM - I should have left a cm space at the bottom and then it may have 'fell open' - but all in all - it's OK.

Where do the weekends go - OK I still have nearly 24 hours before work but I cannot believe where Saturday went.

Christine rang last night and she said they had been looking through old photo's and had been very emotional over the 40 years they'd looked at for their Ruby Wedding anniversary, so I hope the Exploding Memory Box I have made will be a bit hit - and the CD's in there too.

Fingers crossed.

Yes still on J&C's exploding memories box

40 photo titles - typed then DST onto white card then DST on to black holographic card and then cut/trimmed to size - didn't realise how long these 40 photo titles would take to make up. PHEW

40 photographs of which 3 quarters have had to be printed - all 40 have been cropped and tidied - didn't realise how long 40 photo's take to sort !
